Opposition protesters vandalised the Hong Kong office of China’s public Xinhua news agency for the first time in months of unrest on Saturday.
The windows and doors on the building’s facade were smashed while graffiti sprayed on a window. The neon was also partly damaged.
Protesters have previously targeted Chinese businesses perceived to have links with Beijing.
The protests began in June over a nowwithdrawn bill to allow extradition to China. They have since grown into a movement making other demands.

China’s ‘Super Bus’ gets first test run – BBC News

A futuristic new bus that allows cars to pass underneath it on the road is being tested in China. The longawaited Transit Elevated Bus ran its first test in Hebei province this week. Powered by electricity, the bus is able to carry up to 300 passengers.
The scheme’s prompted criticism from some though, as vehicles must be less than two metres high to pass under what’s been dubbed a \”bus on stilts\”.
